The Change of Ore Properties in the Flotation Process

In the industrial flotation process, the ore properties are inevitably changeble when the ore comes into the flotation equipment. Therefore, there must be an available method to observe and adjust this kind of change. The structure change of the mineral crystal will have an important impact on the best grinding finesse of the ore. The experts of flotation machine equipment analyze that the ratio change of the mineral association is a very common phenomenon, we can adjust it by mixing the crude ore and broken ore. When the ore grade is high, it is relatively easy for flotation equipment to produce the high mineralization of foam products; when the ore grade is low, it is more difficult to maintain the stability of the foam. If the flotation tank and chute of the flotation machine has appropriate flexibility at this time, may be one of the flotation tank will be used for low grade ore work.

When the ore is not collected from one location, different mineral property will have fluctuation, and this change may also aggravate because of local oxidation of the ore. This phenomenon may be caused by geological changes or the mineral did not transported to the dressing plant timely. Ore stored in the storage sites or warehouses often causes oxidation phenomenon when the storage time is too long, therefore it is necessary to determine the oxidation degree of the ore. The oxidized ore becomes softening due to the decomposition of the lattice and becomes more difficult to react with the collecting agent and more susceptible to excessive wear.
