Main Equipment in Flotation Separation Process
The flotation separation process is completed by the jaw crusher, the ball mill, the classifier, the magnetic separator, the flotation machine, the concentrator and the dryer. This production process has the merits of high efficiency, low energy consumption, high-capacity and low cost.
The Processes
After preliminary crushing by the jaw crusher, the ores will be sent to the ball mill by the lifting device and the feeder for further crushing and grinding. Afterwards, they come to the next process: classifying. According to the principle that different particle sizes with different proportion have certain terminal velocity, the fine particles float on the water and overflow out while the coarse particles sink to the bottom. Thus, the materials are separated and washed clean.

When they pass through the magnet separator, they are further separated under different magnetic force and mechanical force due to respective susceptibility.
After initial separation by the magnet separator, the particles will be put in the flotation machine. Different minerals are added different drugs to be separated from others. Since the separated minerals contain large amount of water, they should be concentrated by the concentrator and then dried by the dryer. At last, the dry mineral powders can be obtained.
